Birds and bees

With planning and good practices, any garden can be both beautiful, organic and provide a wonderful haven for wildlife. Mother Nature is the real expert, so working in harmony with her is an obvious way to enjoy a healthy garden. As you know, microbes, insects, fungi, pollinators and wildlife are essential friends in a natural garden.

Creating sustainable, organic, biodiverse gardens and adopting ecologically friendly practices is much easier than you think. There really is no need for harsh chemicals in a British garden.

There are plenty of natural alternatives for pest control and promoting healthy growth.

I'd love to help you create a biodiverse and eco friendly garden.:

Wildflower gardens and patches

Most gardens have an area which is perfect for wildflowers, but there's a little more to it than scattering a packet of seeds or a bee bomb on the ground and hoping for the best.

Wildflower areas usually need attention to get them started, and then they should thrive on neglect! It won't be long before the pollinators flock to your flowers and grasses.

Wildflowers are hardy and perfect where other plants might struggle, from a tiny patch in a neglected corner, or a shed roof or much larger areas.

Creating wildflower areas can be incorporated into Advice Services and Gardening or Design Services.
